We are proud of all the accomplished and hard working young adults who submitted their applications for our scholarship. Each year we are thrilled to learn of the achievements and experiences described by these star students.
This year was no exception, the judges had a difficult time because so many candidates exemplified outstanding work and achievement. But these two rose to the top and our committee was proud to acknowledge both of them.
Will Lau, son of Jill & Randall (deceased) Lau, is pursuing a Mechanic Engineering degree at the ATM Engineering Academy at Blinn Brenham in the Fall.
Rachel Whitney Moreno, daughter of Louis & D'Ann Moreno, will first attend Victoria College and then proceed to Texas A&M next year.
They each received a $1,000 scholarship to assist them in achieving their goals.
