Germania Insurance has earned a coveted spot on Forbes' inaugural list of America’s Best Insurance Companies in Each State.

Ranked among industry titans, Germania secured a top-five ranking for both its auto and home insurance products in the state. Germania is the sole Texas-only carrier to be featured on both lists.

Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey U.S. customers for their opinions on their current and former insurance relationships. Participants were asked to rate carriers based on overall recommendation and general satisfaction, as well as financial advice, customer service, price-performance ratio, transparency, and damage-benefit service.
Germania ranked No. 4 for its auto insurance product and No. 5 for its home insurance product in the state of Texas. Boasting just a fraction of the employee base and coverage area as its nationwide counterparts, Germania strongly delivers on competitive customer service and fair price points.

Germania’s fair and efficient collision claims service has earned the company high ratings from repair facilities across the state.
In a recent nationwide survey conducted by CRASH Network, more than 1,000 body shops were asked to grade insurance companies based on their claims handling policies, attitude, and payment practices. Germania ranked No. 4 in Texas, earning an overall B grade.
When ranked against national carriers, Germania came in at No. 29, besting out Texas Farm Bureau, Travelers, and State Farm, among others. The average grade of all insurers was a B-. “At Germania, we pride ourselves on prioritizing quality and timely repairs,” Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer Lance Ondrej said. “This approach aligns with our company values and strengthens the trust we have with our members.”
